About the Company
Power Capital Renewable Energy (PCRE) is an Independent Power Producer (IPP) established in Ireland in 2011 (www.powercapital.ie). The company has a development portfolio of Solar and BESS projects of over 2GW in Ireland. Currently the company is constructing 230MW of Solar PV in Ireland. Following on recent success in the RESS 2 auction we will commence construction on a further 300MW in 2023/2024. We continue to focus on our domestic growth strategy whilst expanding our international presence in both Europe and the USA, including the recent acquisition and integration of a US based development team with >3GW of Solar PV under development across a number of States. Power Capital are offering the opportunity to become part of a high growth company in the fast-moving renewables sector.
About the Role
In this role you will oversee a portfolio of Solar PV Farms and remotely monitor their performance, you will suggest improvements to implement and optimise O&M interventions. As an initial hire you will also be heavily involved in the company asset management development including platform implementation and optimisation.
The ideal candidate will come from the solar industry and have a good technical understanding of how solar farms operate. You will need an analytical mindset as well as a degree level education in engineering, mathematics or physics, you will also need a driving license as site visits will be required.
This is a permanent role, primarily based in our Dublin office, with travel as required.
