Justin’s responsibilities include developing and implementing the strategic vision of the company to become a leading international IPP. He has been responsible for the origination and the development of 500MW of solar assets in Ireland. He has led on multiple mergers and acquisitions in Ireland and Germany, and has also successfully transacted on the disposal of various solar assets.
Justin has successfully negotiated corporate PPAs with multinationals. He has negotiated various energy performance contracting (EPC) and other construction agreements. He continues to be responsible for growing the domestic and international team and reporting to the company board and shareholders. He was a founding member of the Irish Solar Energy Association (ISEA) and remained as a board member until 2019. Before co-founding PCRE he worked in structured property investments for executive pension funds and was also involved in a HR startup.
Peter is responsible for strategic investments and acquisitions. He has led the investment and acquisition of over 1GW of pipeline opportunity for PCRE as it transforms itself into a fully-integrated IPP. He is instrumental in developing the firm’s strategies around business development and human resources. His responsibilities include origination, structuring, execution and oversight of investments.
Peter has been instrumental in developing PCRE’s Corporate PPA business. This has led to the successful conclusion of Ireland ’s first two corporate PPAs, where the energy generated relates to the energy from a new build solar farm. The offtake arrangements are with two high-profile global technology companies. Before co-founding PCRE, Peter was an investment professional at NCB Stockbrokers, working for 20 years at senior management level. He is a founder member and inaugural committee member of the Irish Solar Energy Association (ISEA).
Bill has over 15 years experience in the infrastructure and energy sectors, specialising in utility solar PV, engineering, procurement and construction. He is responsible for supply chain management, budgets and successful delivery of projects. Bill is also the Treasurer and Board Director of the Irish Solar Energy Association.
Caolan has 10 years’ experience in financial services, specialising in renewable energy and infrastructure. His expert financial modelling gives us an edge in analysing route-to-market opportunities, CPPA negotiations and mergers and acquisitions. Caolan also takes a meticulous approach to financing plans for funding, and shareholder and lender reports.
Pierre-Louis has 14 years’ experience in driving renewable energy projects around the world. He is a renowned negotiator — achieving world record lowest LCOE offers on international IPP tenders, and securing M&A transactions of 1.7GW in USA and 500MW in Egypt. A team member with a global outlook, he has two engineering degrees from Spain and France, and an MBA from Singapore.
Brian is a professionally qualified high voltage electrical engineer with over 24 years’ design, technical, contract and project management experience in the renewable energy sector. He guides all steps of the solar pipeline, from pre-construction to the fully operational stages. Brian is also a valuable project manager during the tender process. Brian continuously oversees the managing of grid works contractor milestones.
Anna has over eight years’ experience in administration services, document control and quality assurance. Anna previously worked for two leading engineering companies in Ireland. A new addition to the Power Capital team, her previous roles included working for Irish Water as a PM coordinator and assistant, and she was also seconded to daa as a part of project management team, working as a document controller on the North Apron early design works.
Cormac has 30 years’ experience in contracting and consulting in the construction industry, and was a Director of AECOM’s engineering business in Ireland for over 20 years. Coordinating both our internal team and external consultants, Cormac guides all Power Capital’s projects through the planning process, ensuring they fully comply with planning regulations.
Sandra Rezende dos Santos is a recent addition to the team at Power Capital Renewable Energy. She is a civil engineer with 6 years of professional experience, gained in various projects, which required expertise in roads, drainage and project management. Sandra will be assisting with CAD, planning and permitting in various stages of project cycle from early development to construction planning compliance.
Kevin has developed trusted professional relationships with landowners, contractors and local authorities over his many years in the infrastructure and renewable solar technology sector. A Certified Associate in Project Management, Kevin is responsible for identifying suitable greenfield sites and bringing these sites through the planning process. Kevin continuously works to keep our existing and prospective landowners informed, thus ensuring they always feel like key stakeholders in each development.
Evvie is a specialised professional engineer, with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Energy Systems Engineering from NUI Galway.
Evvie’s technical expertise makes an impact on many areas of the company, from analysing PV systems using energy modelling software, to meteorological analysis, procurement and supporting planning application submissions.
Stan has over 30 years’ experience in construction site management. His experiences ranges from medium and high voltage connections to project management of renewable generators, including onshore wind farms and solar PV.
Stan has a strong track record in dealing with ESB and EirGrid, delivering overhead power lines, underground cables, substations and fibre optic cabling.
Additionally, he manages site safety, quality control, employee welfare and ensuring work is carried out to meet cost control requirements and time deadlines.
